Iran

Every wondered why the American Policy over Nuclear Weapons failed in Iran? Probably you did. So did I. What I used to wonder was why is America opposed to Iran having Nukes, and most importantly, why should it have the right to oppose such an important decision. After hours of debating in LDC, I am satisfied that Iran is justified in becoming a Nuclear Energy. However, what is interesting is why, the World’s Superpower has failed so far to take any substantial action to stop it?

Simple. The same problem I suffer from - Inability to make up its mind. So American is torn between pressing for policy change or wanting a regime change. At one hand, United States asks Iran to give up its Nukes. On the other hand, it says We’ll kick the regime out. Now imagine, you are surrounded by 5th-graders who are holding bats and are ready to pummel you to the ground. Now, the Big Bully asks you to hang over you only weapon of protection that you have - your slingshot. He threatens to beat you up if you don’t. Would you trust a Bully to be able to not only have influence on the other bullies but also not to beat you up when you are vulnerable? Well if you would, then I would have to say with no reservations that you have a terrible judgement. But I don’t (not at least in this matter) and neither does Iran. Surrounded Pakistan, India, Russia, China and Israel who are loaded with Nukes, Iran would not want to hand over its only protection to a country that threatens to change the present regime.
This shows United States ineptitude in handling a global problem.
